Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Site Register is a cloud-based helper tool that logs supervisor records. We collect only the information necessary to run the service:

• Supervisor Account Data: Your name, email address, phone number, and profile image are gathered during secure registration using Clerk authentication.
• Supervisor Records: Any entries you log into the database, including worker profiles (names, roles, daily wages, phone numbers), daily attendance statuses (Present, Absent, Half Day), overtime logs, deductions, advances, and payroll sheets.
• Regional Settings: Your country, currency, time zone, locale, and language, detected from your device or chosen by you, so amounts and dates are shown correctly.
• Payment Logs: Order IDs and verification signatures generated through Razorpay when upgrading your membership. We do not store or process your credit card numbers, bank details, or direct billing secrets.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your logged database items to run, synchronize, and calculate stats for your register book. Specifically:

• To compile and display your workers directory and calculate daily/monthly wages.
• To keep your records available on any device you sign in on.
• To generate salary report files (PDF/CSV formats) on your request.
• To verify your subscription payment status through Razorpay webhooks.

3. Data Storage & Security

All records are stored securely in cloud-hosted PostgreSQL databases using encrypted server connections. Access to endpoints is strictly gated through secure Clerk JWT authentication tokens. We do not sell, rent, or lease your user directory or payroll records to third parties.

4. User Rights & Data Deletion

The records you enter remain yours, and you can manage and delete your information at any time:

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your entire account permanently inside the mobile app by going to Settings → Delete Account Permanently. Doing so deletes your profile in Clerk and triggers a cascading delete in PostgreSQL, removing your worker profiles, logs, and account records. Billing records may be kept for as long as tax law requires.
• Manual Requests: If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing us at bksingh3520@gmail.com. We will process and confirm your request within 48 hours.

5. Analytics & Third-Party Services

To run and improve the app we use these service providers, which may process limited data on our behalf:

• Clerk for sign-in and account management.
• Razorpay for payment processing.
• PostHog for product analytics, which can include screen interactions and session replay.
• Firebase Crashlytics for crash and stability reports.
• Meta SDK for app install and purchase event measurement.

PostHog, Firebase Crashlytics, and the Meta SDK are optional. They stay switched off until you allow them on the consent screen shown when you first open the app, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data. Your choice is saved with your account, so it applies on every device you sign in on. If you decline, we do not collect this data through them, and the app works the same.

We do not sell your personal information. Worker names and payroll entries are not shared with these providers for advertising.

6. International Users & Your Privacy Rights

Site Register can be used from many countries. Your data is stored on cloud servers that may be located outside the country where you live, and we protect it with the same safeguards wherever it is processed.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, use the in-app deletion option or email us at bksingh3520@gmail.com; we respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7. Retention, Children & Security Incidents

We keep your account and the records you enter until you delete your account. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Site Register is for adults only, and we do not knowingly collect information about children. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
